Agartala: August 06: Chief Minister Professor (Dr.) Manik Saha addressed the media today regarding the ongoing situation in Bangladesh. He emphasized that there are continuous discussions with Delhi, and actions will be taken based on the instructions received.

The Chief Minister has directed the Chief Secretary, BSF, Assam Rifles, and the Director General of State Police to maintain strict vigilance at the border. He assured that stringent surveillance measures are in place to prevent any unauthorized crossings into Tripura. The Chief Secretary, BSF, Assam Rifles, and the Director General of State Police have been instructed to collaborate closely to address any potential issues.

Dr. Saha reiterated that the state is in constant communication with Delhi and will act according to the directives provided.
