Agartala: August 05: Campaigning efforts are in full swing today for the upcoming Tripura Panchayat elections. With the elections imminent, the ruling party’s campaign has reached its peak. On the final day of campaigning, a bike rally was organized from Ranirbazar Cattle Market, featuring BJP-nominated candidates for wards 8 and 9.
The rally covered various areas of Ranirbazar, with participation from Minister Sushanta Chowdhury, BJP candidate Shivayan Das, Manju Das, and others.
Minister Sushanta Chowdhury highlighted that the Bharatiya Janata Party has secured nearly 5000 seats in the state uncontested. As today marks the last day of campaigning, the three-tier Panchayat elections are scheduled for August 8, with results to be announced on August 12. Celebrations are planned for the day the results are declared, anticipating a victory for the Bharatiya Janata Party.
