Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha chaired first cabinet after formation of BJP govt in Tripura

Agartala: Mar 09: First cabinet of Dr Manik Saha government was held in the secretariat on Thursday.After the meeting speaking to journalists just before leaving for Delhi the Tripura CM said that he has instructed the DGP to take tough action against those including his party’s those responsible for the post result violence and book them.He added that even from the side of the BJP party the state’s president and he himself has urged none to take law in their hand as government and police will do its own work.Saha added that he is going to Delhi for a family programme beside meet the President and Vice-President.On the discussion between union Home Minister Amit Shah and TIPRA Motha, the CM said that they are not going to accept the demand for Greater Tipraland but shall do whatever necessary for the development of the tribal section of people.Meantime, on the day the cabinet has appointed MLA Binoy Bhushan Das as the Protem Speaker.
