Agartala: April 25: Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha chaired a video conference at the Secretariat Complex, attended by all District Magistrates and Superintendents of Police. The meeting, held in response to directives from Delhi, focused on the timely implementation of various development projects, maintaining law and order, and enhancing state security in light of separatist activities in Kashmir.

Reliable sources indicated that the Chief Minister instructed officials to ensure the prompt repatriation of any Pakistani nationals residing in the state. This directive was reportedly issued following instructions from the Union Home Minister.

 

The conference underscored the importance of coordinated efforts to address security concerns while ensuring the smooth execution of developmental initiatives.
