Agartala: May 29:  Chief Electoral Officer Puneet Agarwal visited the strong room at Sonamura Dwadasha Balika Vidyalaya to assess the arrangements for the upcoming Lok Sabha election vote counting. Here are the key details from his inspection:

After examining all the arrangements, Puneet Agarwal expressed satisfaction with the preparations. However, work is still ongoing in the counting rooms. Foolproof security arrangements, including CCTV cameras, have been put in place. A three-tier security ring will be maintained at the counting centers to prevent any security lapses.

Preparations related to CCTV cameras, security forces, and power supply are in their final stages. Some pending work will be completed within the next few days. Puneet Agarwal expressed hope that the counting process would proceed smoothly in the state and across the country on June 4th.
