BSF launches HIV/ AIDS awareness rally

Agartala: Nov 22: Today, the Border Security Force (BSF) organized a bike rally aimed at raising awareness about HIV and AIDS in Tripura. The event saw the participation of over 300 people, including members of the BSF, CRPF, Tripura Police, Assam Rifles, and various NGOs, all coming together for a common cause. The rally began at 8:30 AM from Lichubagan and traversed various routes before concluding at the BSF Sector Headquarters in Gokulnagar.

The event’s chief guest, Amitabh Ranjan, the Director General of Tripura Police, expressed his full support for the initiative, highlighting the importance of raising awareness about HIV and AIDS, particularly in the context of public health. He emphasized that such events play a crucial role in educating people about the dangers of the disease and the steps that can be taken to prevent its spread.

This rally not only aimed at spreading crucial health information but also highlighted the BSF’s commitment to fostering unity and collaboration between security forces and the community. By involving various organizations, the event underscored the importance of collective action in tackling health challenges.

The vibrant initiative reflects the determination of the BSF and other participating organizations to raise awareness and strengthen the bond between the security forces and the people they serve. Through this rally, the participants sent a strong message about the need for continued education and vigilance in the fight against HIV and AIDS in Tripura.
