Bru Refugees Problem Solved During BJP-IPFT Coalition Govt: Rajib

Agartala, January 31: The issue of Bru refugees living in Tripura for the past 23 years has been resolved under the BJP-IPFT coalition government. State BJP President Rajib Bhattacharjee said this at the meeting today.

Incidentally, in view of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, joining to  the ruling party is increasing day by day. Today, 460 people from 158 families and 567 voters from 186 families in Dhalai district office, Ambassa, joined the BJP party in Booth No. 30 of Reang refugee camp area of 47 Ambassa assembly constituency. A total of 1127 voters of 346 families have joined BJP party in two joining meetings on this day. State BJP President Rajeev Bhattacharya, MLA Bhagwan Chandra Das and other members of the party were present in the joining meeting.

Rajib Bhattacharjee said in the meeting that Bru refugees who have been living in Tripura for the last 23 years are living. During the Left Government, no measures were taken to solve their problems. But the BJP-IPFT coalition government solved them. Arrangements have been made for them to live in Tripura.
