Agartala June 5: The head office of TSR 13 Battalion is located in Daspara area under Subhashnagar Gao Sabha under Kanchanpur subdivision of Uttar district. And the dead body of a rifleman was recovered in this head office on Sunday late night while on duty. The dead soldier’s name is Sarat Singh. The deceased rifleman’s home is in West Bengal.

Allegedly, for a long time, some irregularities were going on in the headquarters of the battalion regarding the vacation of the jawans. Many jawans were outraged by the behavior of the Assistant Commandant. According to sources, TSR jawan committed suicide as he could not bear this torture. Meanwhile, the police and forensic team went to the spot after getting the information. Police brought the dead body to Kanchanpur hospital mortuary early Monday morning. But till now the real mystery of this tragic death has not been revealed. And the police cannot say clearly whether it is suicide or murder. Complete information will be known only after the autopsy. Meanwhile, the whole incident has spread sensation in the headquarters of the battalion and the surrounding area. A fair investigation is being demanded. It is said that the body will be sent home after post-mortem.
