Agartala, July 16: Tripura’s Social Education and Social Welfare Minister Tinku Roy on Thursday inaugurated the new Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Mandal Office at Chandipur in Unakoti district, describing it as an important step towards strengthening the party’s organisational network and expanding its outreach among the people.
Speaking at the housewarming and inauguration ceremony, the Minister said the newly established office would serve as a key centre for coordinating organisational activities and enhancing interaction with the public. He emphasised that the office represents the BJP’s continued commitment to disciplined organisation, grassroots engagement and public service.
“This office is not merely a building; it symbolises our dedication to organisational discipline, effective coordination and maintaining close contact with the people. It will help make the party’s activities more dynamic and responsive to public aspirations,” Roy said.
The Minister expressed confidence that the new office would further strengthen the BJP’s organisational structure in Chandipur Mandal and enable party workers to serve the people more efficiently. He also urged party members to continue working with dedication to address public concerns and contribute to the development of the region.
The inauguration programme was attended by Unakoti District BJP President Bimal Kar, Chandipur Mandal President Pintu Ghosh, senior party leaders, office-bearers, workers and a large number of supporters.
Addressing the gathering, party leaders said the establishment of the Mandal office would provide a permanent platform for planning and coordinating organisational programmes, conducting public outreach campaigns and strengthening the party’s grassroots presence across the constituency.
They expressed confidence that the new facility would energise party workers, improve communication with the public and help expand the BJP’s activities in the district. Leaders also reiterated the party’s commitment to serving people through welfare initiatives and developmental programmes.
The event commenced with traditional rituals and prayers, reflecting the cultural heritage of the region. Party workers welcomed the inauguration as a significant milestone in the BJP’s organisational expansion in Unakoti district.
The newly inaugurated Mandal office is expected to function as an important organisational hub for the party, facilitating regular meetings, public interaction, membership drives and outreach programmes aimed at strengthening the BJP’s connection with people at the grassroots level.
