Agartala: Oct 07: There has been a continuous attempt to create social and political unrest in the state for quite some time. The aim is to divert the public’s attention and put pressure on the government. However, the Bharatiya Janata Party had alerted its workers about this. Nevertheless, a certain group has been engaged in these matters. The BJP state spokesperson, Nabendu Bhattacharjee, condemned the opposition by making this statement about the current situation.

Addressing a press conference at the state BJP office on Monday, he further said that the state government is keeping a close watch on the tense situation in Kadamtala. The government will take the strictest possible action. Senior police officers have been sent there. And those directly involved in this incident will be dealt with. Those who instigated them and tried to create a frenzy will also not be spared in any way. The police have started an investigation into this. Whatever action the police will take, the BJP supports the government’s work because such incidents cannot be tolerated in any way.

He further said that the government wants progress in all sectors, including health and education. But many do not like this progress. That’s why the opposition cannot tolerate the initiative to establish a SIJA hospital in the state for the welfare of the people of the state. Last Sunday, it was seen that a legislator raised this allegation in a press conference.

But people do not like such activities. He further said that since the Bharatiya Janata Party government was established in Tripura, there has been significant development in the health sector. Now, people don’t have to go to other states for advanced treatment as frequently as before. Even complex surgeries are being performed in Tripura. A forensic university and a dental college have been established in the state. Children from outside the state are coming to Tripura to study. So, the Bharatiya Janata Party has a policy. In no way can the Bharatiya Janata Party and the present government be suppressed by creating instability and confusion, he said.
