Agartala: April 02: Bhavan’s Little Learners Bordowali celebrated its Annual Program and Prize-Giving Ceremony today at the Rabindra Satabarshiki Bhavan, in a colorful and lively event. The ceremony was graced by prominent personalities, with Padmashree Prof. Arunoday Saha, the former Vice Chancellor of Tripura University, serving as the Chief Guest. Alongside him, other distinguished figures such as Sri Amar Ghosh, an eminent singer, Sri Subrata Chakraborty, Vice Chairman of the State Level Cultural Advisory Committee, ICA Department, Government of Tripura, and Sri Manas Paul, Executive Editor of Tripura Times, attended as special guests.
The event began with the lighting of the sacred lamp and a floral tribute to the portrait of Kulapati K. M. Munshi Ji. The guests were formally welcomed, setting the tone for a meaningful and inspiring celebration. Sri Debasish Chakraborty, Chairman of the Agartala Kendra, presided over the entire program.
In her inaugural address, Smt. Swapna Shome, Principal of Bhavan’s Tripura Vidya Mandir, spoke about the values upheld by the institution and lauded the achievements of the students. The Chief Guest, Padma Shri Prof. Arunoday Saha, was felicitated for his long-standing association with Bhavan’s and his continuous support for the institution and society. In his blessings, Prof. Saha appreciated the institution’s efforts and its positive contributions to the community.
To recognize the hard work and dedication of the students, prizes were awarded in various academic and co-curricular categories. The program was further enlivened by cultural performances, with the young Bhavanites showcasing their talents in vibrant and lively acts. The event was a true reflection of the spirit and creativity of Bhavan’s students, leaving everyone in attendance with a sense of pride and joy.
