Agartala, December 25: BSF jawans of Ranibari camp arrested a Bangladeshi woman for illegal entry. Later he was handed over to the Kadamtala police. A police official said that no valid documents were found from him.

A police official said that around ten o’clock yesterday night, the BSF jawans of Sabrum police station received a tip-off that a Bangladeshi citizen had crossed the border and was staying in Ward No. 5 area of Brajendra Nagar in North Tripura district. BSF jawans immediately searched the area after receiving this information. A woman was arrested during the search.

He also said that the arrested woman is Jani Rani Das (25), a resident of Nunua area under Baralekha police station of Moulvibazar district of Bangladesh. Her husband Nipendra Das. He entered Tripura illegally.
