Agartala: June 04: In an unfortunate turn of events, three individuals sustained injuries during an assault while attempting to present a bouquet of flowers to the newly elected MLA, Deepak Majumdar. The incident occurred following BJP candidate Deepak Majumdar’s resounding victory in the Ramnagar by-election.
According to eyewitness accounts, a group of workers gathered to welcome the MLA by offering flowers. However, alleged Yuva Morcha workers launched an attack, resulting in serious injuries to the three individuals. Chaos erupted in the moment, prompting immediate rescue efforts. The injured were swiftly taken to IGM Hospital for treatment.
