Agartala: Feb 16:  Assam Rifles paid a heartfelt tribute to the late Lt Col Mahavir Singh of 35 Assam Rifles, who made the ultimate sacrifice during Operation ORANGE in Azuiram village, Tamenglong district, Manipur. This solemn remembrance took place at the Agartala Garrison, where all ranks of Assam Rifles gathered to honor the courage, dedication, and commitment of this valiant officer.

Lt Col Mahavir Singh was a symbol of unwavering dedication to duty, and his sacrifice during the operation left an indelible mark on the force. His leadership and determination in the line of duty serve as a reminder of the exceptional bravery and selflessness demonstrated by soldiers of the Assam Rifles, who are often deployed in challenging and hostile terrains to safeguard the sovereignty and security of India.
