Agartala, April 12: In a coordinated effort, Assam Rifles and the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) successfully intercepted and confiscated 62 kilograms of ganja. The operation unfolded after receiving intelligence on Thursday night regarding a significant stash of ganja concealed in the Krishna Tula area of Sepahijala district.
The joint operation, meticulously planned based on this classified information, culminated in the seizure of the illicit substance. The estimated market value of the seized ganja stands at ₹27.9 lakh.
