Agartala: Feb 28: On the orders of the High Court, on Tuesday, the local traders emptied the soil in the market house on the side of Siddhi Ashram road. About 250 people are involved in this business in the market for 60 years. But in 2006, the real owner of the land, Ranjit Debbarma, filed a case in the High Court as per the inheritance of his family, Lalit Debbarma. He won the case. On February 9, the Drabble Bench of the High Court issued a notice to the market traders to vacate the land.

After receiving the court notice, the eyes of the businessmen are fixed on their foreheads. Because many businessmen say that they bought the place and gave shop long 40 to 50 years ago. And they claim to have 103 shop owners. But now they are not able to understand anything after getting the court notice and having to leave the shop quickly on notice. But they got the notice and found out that the owner of this land is Ranjit Debbarma. But then the question of who they bought the land from started to arise.

However, now they have temporarily moved to the area adjacent to the Radha Madhav temple on Tuesday after receiving a notice from the double bench. Traders also said that they are currently very helpless. The court directed that legal action will be taken against them if they do not vacate the land immediately. Arrest may be made if necessary. Meanwhile, Lalit got an assurance from Debbarma that a multiplex complex would be built on this land. Then they will be given shop houses to re-trade within this land. Helpless businessmen say so. However, they are hoping that they will be given the land in the multiplex complex within the next one to one and a half years. Now everything is waiting for the business community.
