A search operation was conducted in Durga Chaumuhani Bazar on the initiative of Sadar Sub-Divisional Ruler and Food Department on Friday.
Basically price increase and selling things at higher prices than the MRP and besides that how the sellers are dealing with the buyers properly and also various other items are examined on this day. Sadar Sub-Divisional Governor said that the raid was carried out to see if there are expired documents
On the initiative of Sadar Sub-Divisional Ruler and Food Department, a search operation was conducted on Friday in various shops of Durga Chaumuhani area after receiving complaints of keeping expired items and excessive prices. Officials said that this campaign will be conducted in all the shops in the market
Apart from that, strict legal action will be taken against those who do all these illegal business, said the officials of the department.
