A press conference was organized at Chatrajub Bhavan on Wednesday by the Students Federation of India Various leaders of SFI and TSU were present.

Basically, a letter from the Chief Minister came to them on the 4th of May about the Kakbarak script . In that letter, it was mentioned that the students of CBSE board can take their studies and exams only in Bengali script. But studies and exams cannot be done in Roman script. The entire matter has been directed by the CBSE board. For that purpose, in the 2023 assembly session, the opposition party raised the tone of the issue so that the CBSE board studies and examination process can be started in Roman script as well as Bengali script. The general secretary of TSU presented his speech in support of that . Because during the previous left front government both Bengali and Kakbarak were taught and exams were given But today they organized this press meeting about why it did not happen.
