A DDRC Outreach Building was inaugurated on Saturday, April 22 for the Dibangs of Dharmanagar in North Tripura district. Shri Vishwabandhu Sen, the MLA of the Tripura Legislative Assembly and Dharmanagar, inaugurated the event. Also present on the stage were District Governor Shri Nagesh Kumar B, Chief Health Officer of Northern District Dr. Arunav Chakraborty, prominent ophthalmologist Dr. Sandeep Roy and Dharmanagar Pura Parishad Chairman Shri Pratut De Sarkar. Speaking on the day, Principal Biswabandhu Sen said that from now on, Dibangs should not go to Kailashahar and show a doctor and take certificates. From this DDRC’s Dharmanagar Center, all kinds of facilities and services will be provided to the Dibangs.
