Agartala, January 30: Mahatma Gandhi fought for freedom. Mahatma Gandhi’s thought has always inspired the people of Tripura. Governor Indra Sena Reddy Nallu said this today on Mahatma Gandhi’s Martyrdom Day.

Incidentally, January 30 is Mahatma Gandhi’s Martyrdom Day. As a part of this, today Governor Indra Sena Reddy Nallu first offered floral tributes at the foot of the Gandhi statue at Circuit House and later at Gandhi Bedi at Gandhi Ghat. Minister Shantana Chakma and others were with him on this day.
