Agartala: Nov 24: As a part of ongoing Janjatiya Gaurav Diwas, the Ministry for Micro Small & Medium Enterprises (MSME), in collaboration with Tripura Rehabilitation Plantation Corporation Ltd. and Tripura Scheduled Tribes Cooperative Development Corporation unitedly organized a one day Entrepreneurship Awareness Programme at Ampi BRC Hall in Gomati Tripura today. This initiative aims to empower aspiring entrepreneurs by providing valuable insights and resources to foster innovation, drive economic growth, and create a vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem. Sh. BP Meena, Head & Incharge of MSME Tripura State made the citizens aware of various schemes under Ministry of MSME. Udhami Registrations were also taken up at the event. Shri BP Meena thanked Capt. GS Rathee for taking the lead to organize these events. The program was attended by hundreds of local Tribal aspiring entrepreneurs being presided over by Ms. Patal Kanya Jamatia , Chairperson & Minister of State along with Social workers Sh. Shibnath Jamatia, Smt. Kabita Jamatia & Sh. Jayanta Jamatia. Other officials from Tripura Gramin Bank, Block Mission Coordinator, Extension officer department of Industries and media persons were also present. Speaking at this event Ms. Patal Jamatia thanked the MSME & emphasised on the need of such valuable programs that help the Central Government Schemes to reach the socially & economically deprived masses. The various schemes under MSME can change the fate of citizens. MSME representatives thanked Ms. Patal Jamatia for taking up the issue of Tribals living in TTAADC areas for empowering the village committees with powers at par with Village Panchayats to take ahead the Approving & Vetting of the applications of Beneficiaries under Vishwakarma Scheme, as presently only Village Panchayats/ULB’s are only approved for verifications & vetting purposes. This will not only help Tribals from TTAADC but will help millions of tribals residing in all the Sixth Schedule Areas in states of Assam, Meghalaya & Mizoram too.
