76th Independent day Cultural extravaganza
The students of Holy Cross School at Panisagar, remembering many of our freedom fighters had an extravaganza cultural program, where in many students participated joyfully in the presence of parents and guardians. On August 15, 1947, we got freedom from the British Raj after being ruled by them for over two hundred long years. It was indeed a long freedom struggle and many of our brethren fought and gave their precious life for our freedom. On our 76th Independence Day, let us remember their selfless acts and sacrifices with gratitude in our hearts and pride in our minds for making India one of the largest democracies in the world. They fought hard for our country in many different ways and those un-sung heroes and heroines are remembered by our students’ fancy dress presentations, patriotic songs and dances. This has helped the students to identify themselves with those patriotic personalities of our nation and serve the nation in the future.
