The police of East police station have arrested them and are interrogating them. Not only drug dealers, but also drug users are being arrested. The police of East Agartala Police Station today raided the house of Vikas Chakraborty in Dhaleshwar No. 3 Road area.
The owner of the house lives in Kolkata. The house is rented. During the search of this house, two packets of brown sugar, kauta, cash, mobile and various other things were recovered. Naresh Debbarma, Rohit Debbarma, Rahul Debbarma and Biku Debbarma were arrested. Police also seized a car, scooty and motor bike from the spot. This was said by Ashish Dasgupta, the police officer in charge of Sadar. Police are investigating the case under the NDPS Act. It is believed that drugs were sold from this house in the absence of the owner. More names may come out if the police interrogate the arrested.
