Agartala May 1: On the basis of secret information, a large amount of illegally stored foreign liquor was recovered. Two liquor sellers were also arrested. The incident took place on Sunday night in Khasiamangal area under Teliamura police station. It is known that the police of Teliamura police station received information that illegal imported liquor has been stocked in a shop in Khasiamangal area.

On receiving this information, the police of Teliamura police station raided the Khasiamangal area and recovered 140 bottles of illegally stored Forein liquor. Nayan Kumar Roy, Pritam Debnath, involved in this incident, arrested two liquor sellers and brought them to Teliamura police station. The market value of seized illegal liquor is approximately Rs 25 thousand.
