The deceased have been identified as Sajjit Debbarma (43), Laxmi Debbarma (22) and Parikshit Debbarma. All three had reportedly travelled to Bengaluru in search of employment and better livelihood opportunities.

The circumstances surrounding their deaths remain unclear, and their families are awaiting official information about the cause of the tragedy.

The uncertainty has added to the distress of the bereaved families, who are struggling to cope with the sudden loss while also making arrangements to bring the bodies back to their native places.

Family members said the cost of transporting the mortal remains from Bengaluru to Tripura was beyond their financial means. They have appealed to the state government and TTAADC authorities to provide financial assistance and logistical support to facilitate the transportation.

The families have also urged the authorities to intervene promptly and expedite the necessary formalities so that the last rites can be performed without further delay.

The deaths have caused concern in the victims’ native areas, where relatives and community members are awaiting further information about the circumstances in which the three residents died.

The incident has also drawn attention to the challenges faced by economically vulnerable families when relatives working outside their home state die unexpectedly. Apart from dealing with the emotional trauma, such families may have to bear substantial expenses for transporting mortal remains over long distances and completing the associated administrative procedures.

For the families of the three deceased, bringing their loved ones home has become an immediate priority amid the uncertainty surrounding the deaths.

They have urged the authorities to extend all possible assistance and ensure that the mortal remains are transported to Tripura at the earliest.

The families continue to await official details about the deaths, while further information regarding the circumstances of the incident and the assistance sought from the authorities was awaited.
