Roy announced that a new IT Park will soon be established at Amtali Bypass in Agartala. A proposal has already been submitted to the Union Ministry for approval, and the project is expected to attract a primary investment of at least Rs 500 crore. The Rs 200 crore project is expected to create substantial employment opportunities. He emphasized that companies partnering with the state must prioritize qualified candidates from Tripura during recruitment.

“Our youth must benefit directly from the investments coming into the state. Job security for local talent remains our priority,” the Minister said.

Referring to the blood donation camp organized during the event, he noted that voluntary blood donation has evolved into a people’s movement in Tripura, ensuring adequate blood availability across the state.
