Governor Nallu participated in the symbolic tree plantation drive in the premises of Lok Bhavan and highlighted the significance of increasing green cover to ensure a healthier and more sustainable future. He stressed that tree plantation is one of the most effective ways to combat the adverse effects of climate change, including rising temperatures, loss of biodiversity, and environmental pollution.

Speaking on the occasion, the Governor urged citizens, especially the younger generation, to actively participate in afforestation programmes and adopt environmentally responsible practices in their daily lives. He said that protecting nature is a shared responsibility and called upon people to contribute towards preserving forests, water resources, and biodiversity.

The Governor also emphasized that environmental conservation is essential for maintaining ecological balance and ensuring the well-being of future generations. He noted that every tree planted today is an investment in a cleaner and greener tomorrow.
