According to official data, a total of 4,731 candidates appeared for the exam, including 2,086 boys and 2,645 girls, reflecting a higher participation of female candidates this year. Among the examinees, 604 students opted for the PCM group (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics), while 2,666 candidates chose the PCB group (Physics, Chemistry, Biology). Additionally, 1,461 students registered for both groups, indicating strong competition across streams.

To ensure smooth conduct, the board set up 15 examination centres across the state. Of these, eight centres were located in West Tripura district, which accommodated the highest number of candidates, while the remaining districts had one centre each.

The examination was conducted in three sessions following a strict schedule. The Physics and Chemistry papers were held from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM, followed by the Biology exam from 1:30 PM to 2:15 PM. The final session for Mathematics took place from 3:00 PM to 3:45 PM. Students adhered to the schedule, and all sessions were completed without disruption.

TBJEE Chairman Dr. Shubhadip Pal, along with senior officials, visited multiple centres during the day to oversee arrangements and ensure that guidelines were properly followed. He expressed satisfaction with the overall conduct of the examination and confirmed that the results are expected to be announced in the last week of May.

Strict security protocols and surveillance measures were implemented at all venues to maintain discipline and prevent malpractice. Officials reported that the examination concluded peacefully, with no untoward incidents, marking another successful and well-organized effort by the board.
