The publication presents a sector-wise account of initiatives taken by the Kailashahar Municipal Council, focusing on planned urban development, strengthening of civic infrastructure, and improved delivery of public services. It also outlines a roadmap for future growth, aimed at transforming Kailashahar into a more organized, sustainable, and citizen-friendly town.

Addressing the gathering, Minister Tinku Roy said the publication serves as an important record of Kailashahar’s overall development and reflects the government’s commitment to transparency and accountability. “This publication reflects planned development, advancement of civic services, and a clear vision for the future. It is a significant document that captures the holistic progress of Kailashahar,” Roy stated.

The minister emphasized that the initiatives highlighted in the document demonstrate the government’s focus on balanced growth, with special attention to welfare-oriented projects and inclusive development. He noted that improvements in basic amenities such as roads, sanitation, drinking water supply, street lighting, and waste management have directly enhanced the quality of life for residents.

Roy further said that the BJP-led government is committed to citizen-centric governance, ensuring that development initiatives are aligned with the needs and aspirations of the people. “The publication itself is a milestone, as it documents the efforts made to bring about systematic and planned development. Our government remains focused on long-term planning and delivering services that benefit every section of society,” he added.

Municipal council representatives present at the event highlighted key achievements recorded in the publication, including infrastructure upgrades, beautification projects, and steps taken toward digital governance. They also reiterated their commitment to continuing development works in coordination with the state government.

The ceremony concluded with officials and community members expressing optimism that the documented achievements and future plans would further accelerate Kailashahar’s growth and strengthen public trust in municipal governance.
