During the event, the Minister visited an exhibition and also interacted with the students.

The Minister said that Sri Sri Ravi Shankar has transformed countless lives.

“Sri Sri Ravi Shankar is the living embodiment of peace, compassion and wisdom. Through his teachings, humanitarian works and tireless efforts for global harmony, he has inspired millions across the world as the founder of the Art of Living Foundation. His mission has always been to create a stress-free and violence-free society, which is very important in today’s world. He teaches us that spirituality is not separate from life, but rather the art of living life fully, joyfully and responsibly. His words remind us that human values are the foundation of a strong society, and that education, governance and progress must be rooted in compassion and ethics,” said the Minister.

He further said that Sri Sri Ravi Shankar always reminds us that education is not just about gathering information, but about awakening human values within us.

“The theme of the Edufest is Udbhavanam, which means to inspire intellect, curiosity and creativity. Always remember that the future of the country is decided in its educational institutions. We may be sitting in chairs today, but it is the students who are the future. Your life and how it unfolds will fully depend on you. Students will lead the country in the future,” he said.

The Minister also stated that the more knowledgeable a country is, the more developed it will become. “Currently, competition is going on all over the world and no one is leaving a single space. No matter what the situation is, don’t stop—always move forward,” he added.

“Students are the future of the country and they should not only be good students but also good human beings,” said the Minister.
