Agartala, July 9: In a continued effort to bridge the gap between the government and the people, Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha on Tuesday held the 46th edition of his flagship public outreach initiative, ‘Mukhyamantri Samipeshu’. The weekly programme provides a direct platform for citizens to voice their grievances and seek assistance.

During the session, people from various districts across the state gathered to personally share their issues with the Chief Minister. Dr. Saha attentively listened to each case and issued on-the-spot instructions to the concerned officials for prompt resolution. Matters related to health, financial aid, employment, and public welfare featured prominently during the interaction.

“The objective of Mukhyamantri Samipeshu is to ensure that no citizen is left unheard. We are working every day to solve problems faced by people from all walks of life—be it laborers, farmers, or the underprivileged,” the Chief Minister stated on social media platform X after the programme.

Dr. Saha reaffirmed his government’s commitment to citizen-centric governance, emphasizing that this initiative plays a crucial role in ensuring transparency, accountability, and direct access to administration.

Officials present at the programme said such interactions have proven effective in fast-tracking redressal and fostering trust in the government’s functioning. “It brings the administration closer to the people and encourages a participatory model of governance,” an official noted.

As the Mukhyamantri Samipeshu programme enters its 47th episode next week, the government remains focused on expanding outreach and ensuring that the benefits of welfare schemes and public services reach the last mile.
