Agartala: Mar 10: Former Chief Minister of Tripura and Member of Parliament, Biplab Kumar Deb, claimed that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman presented a visionary budget. He also mentioned that the central government will be presenting a specific budget for Manipur today. This statement came after the first phase of the budget session concluded in Parliament, where Biplab Kumar Deb addressed the media.
Deb explained that just a few days ago, President’s Rule was imposed in Manipur, which made it necessary for the central government to present a separate budget for the state. He emphasized that the central government has given significant attention to this matter and has prepared the budget with utmost seriousness. He also extended his best wishes to the people of Manipur, hoping that the budget would bring about positive change and development for the state.
In his remarks, Deb further stated that both Prime Minister Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah are keen on restoring peace in Manipur as soon as possible. He assured that the government is actively working in that direction, taking all necessary steps to resolve the ongoing issues and bring stability to the region. The focus, according to Deb, is on ensuring peace and normalcy returns to Manipur, and the government is dedicated to addressing the challenges the state faces.
