Agartala: Mar 02: A major milestone in the field of education was marked on Sunday with the land worship and foundation stone laying ceremony for the Mata Tripura Sundari Open University in Udaipur’s Chandrapur area. The university, which will be constructed at an estimated cost of 50 crore rupees, is expected to be a game-changer in providing accessible education across the region.
The event was graced by the Finance Minister, Pranjit Singh Roy, who was the chief guest for the ceremony. Minister Shukla Charan Noatia, MLA Abhishek Debroy, Rishiraj Maharaj, and Hemant Goel, Chairman of the university’s sponsoring body, were also present at the event, alongside several other notable figures.
In his speech, Finance Minister Pranjit Singh Roy highlighted that the establishment of Mata Tripura Sundari Open University would be a significant leap in the state’s education sector.
