Agartala: Jan 23: Ahead of the 24th Conference of the CPI(M) Tripura State Committee, the last meeting was held on Thursday at the Dashrath Deb Smriti Bhavan, located at Mela Math in the capital. The meeting saw the presence of key party leaders, including former Chief Minister Manik Sarkar, CPI(M) Tripura State Committee Secretary and Leader of the Opposition Jitendra Choudhury, along with other members of the State Committee.
In his address, Jitendra Choudhury explained that the meeting primarily focused on discussions regarding the upcoming state conference and its various agendas. One of the key tasks outlined was the preparation of the party’s political and organizational report for the last three years, which would be presented at the conference. Choudhury emphasized that CPI(M) has always maintained a distinct approach compared to other political parties in the state, and the upcoming conference would serve as an important platform to evaluate and outline the party’s progress and strategies moving forward.
The 24th CPI(M) Tripura State Conference is scheduled to take place from January 29 to 31 at the Agartala Town Hall.
