Agartala: Dec 09: Gautam Pal, the entrepreneur and head of Sister Spices in Tripura, has passed away. He breathed his last at a private hospital in Kolkata this morning. The industrial world is mourning his demise.
Chief Minister Professor (Dr.) Manik Saha has expressed deep sorrow over his passing. Minister Sushant Chowdhury, former Union Minister Pratima Bhowmik, and Mayor Deepak Majumdar have also expressed their condolences.
Gautam Pal had been suffering from a kidney ailment for a long time and was undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Kolkata. He was 60 years old at the time of his death. He is survived by his wife, daughter, and numerous admirers.
Chief Minister Professor (Dr.) Manik Saha said, “I am deeply saddened by the sudden demise of Shri Gautam Pal, a distinguished industrialist of the state and the head of Sister Spices. I pray to God for the peace of his departed soul and express my deepest condolences to the bereaved family.”
Former Union Minister Pratima Bhaumik said, “I am saddened by the demise of Gautam Pal, a well-known and distinguished industrialist of Tripura and the head of Sister Spices. He left us at a very difficult time. The state will always remember his contribution as a distinguished industrialist. I pray to God for the peace of his departed soul and express my deepest condolences to the bereaved family.”
Minister Sushanta Chowdhury and Mayor of Agartala Municipal Corporation and MLA Deepak Majumdar have also expressed their condolences over his passing.
