Agartala: Sept 09: A tragic incident has occurred in the TRPC Colony of Purba Pilak, where a homeowner reportedly killed his wife and three-year-old child before committing suicide. The incident has caused a sensation in the area. Police have recovered the bodies and sent them to the hospital for post-mortem. A case of unnatural death has been registered, and an investigation is underway.
According to reports, on Monday, locals noticed a foul odor emanating from a house in the TRPC Colony of Purba Pilak Nabaram Para. They promptly informed the Devdaru Fandri police station. Upon arrival, police discovered the bodies of two individuals with stab wounds and one hanging body in a decomposed state. A forensic team and a magistrate also arrived at the scene to assist with the investigation. The bodies were subsequently sent to the hospital for post-mortem.
A police officer confirmed that the bodies of Biranta Tripura (30), his wife Shyama Tripura (24), and their 3-year-old child Alisa Tripura were recovered this morning. The police have registered a case of unnatural death and initiated an investigation. Meanwhile, BJP Mandal president Ajay Riyang visited the scene and called for a thorough investigation into the incident.
