Seven Bangladeshi Arrests  in Berimura

Agartala: August 25: Based on secret intelligence, Lefunga police have arrested seven illegal Bangladeshi youths and a human trafficker, who is an auto-rickshaw driver, from the Berimura area. The driver, identified as Jibon Baishya, was apprehended along with his vehicle, which bears the registration number TR 01 L 3501. A case has been filed against the individuals, and they have been sent to court.

Lefunga police station’s Officer-in-Charge, Sahadev Das, provided more details to the media. It has been revealed that Jibon Baishya has been involved in human trafficking for a considerable period, using his auto-rickshaw for the illegal activity. While there are others involved in the operation, Baishya has not disclosed their identities. The investigation is ongoing.
