Belonia, May 21 : In a joint effort, student and youth organizations—SFI, TSU, DYFI, and TYF—have launched a statewide program to protest the current government’s handling of education, health, and law and order. Blaming the Chief Minister for the prevailing chaos, they have called for the Chief Minister’s resignation.

The protest rally, held in front of Chhatra Yuv Bhavan on Tuesday afternoon, featured DOYFI State President Palash Baul, State Secretary Nabaran Dev, and leaders from other organizations.

Palash Baul emphasized that their demonstration aims to draw attention to critical issues affecting citizens. The state faces an unemployment crisis, a collapsed education system, and a deteriorating health infrastructure. Concerns have escalated since the Vidyalay Jyoti School results were declared, leaving guardians anxious. Shortages of doctors, health workers, and essential medicines plague the state’s main referral hospitals. Additionally, incidents of theft, robbery, and snatching have surged during nighttime hours. Amidst these challenges, state ministers are preoccupied with campaigning in West Bengal. The protesters are voicing their strong dissent against this situation.
