Agartala July 7: The first day of Tripura’s Thirteenth Legislative Assembly budget session, the Holy Assembly became agitated over the viewing of an obscene video of MLA Yadav Lal Nath in the previous Assembly session. Opposition At the beginning of the session, the opposition simultaneously joined the protest. On this day, Tipra Matha, CPM and Congress MLAs came down to the well and demonstrated. However, in the meantime, Finance Minister Pranjit Singh Roy continued to present the budget for 2023-24.

But during the presentation of the budget, the legislators of Tipra Matha suddenly jumped on the table of the session room of the assembly. And they started protesting by getting on the table. At the same time, a stack of paper was thrown at the principal. Assembly workers were busy preventing it. Within a few minutes, the MLAs of Tipra Matha, the main opposition party in the state, clashed with the assembly workers. The collective chanting continues. In this chaotic situation, the principal had to face problems to continue the work of the session. After this, following the Chief Minister’s proposal, Principal Bishwabandhu Sen announced the suspension of 5 MLAs from the Assembly for Friday. The suspended MLAs are Sudip Roy Barman, Brisketu Debbarma, Ranjith Debbarma, Nandita Reang and Nayan Sarkar. Meanwhile, MLA Sudip Roy Barman got involved in a verbal altercation while leaving the assembly hall after the dismissal. Opposition leader Animesh Debbarma demanded that the suspension of 5 MLAs be revoked. But the principal did not want to accept it. Due to which the opposition legislators left the assembly hall. In the end, MLA Gopal Chandra Roy demanded that the dismissal be revoked. With the consent of the Chief Minister, Principal Bishwabandhu Sen announced after 2 pm that the decision to suspend all MLAs would be withdrawn. A shameful incident happened again in the history of the Legislative Assembly on this day. Condemnation of this behavior of head legislators on the table is everywhere. On the other hand, MLA Sudip Roy Barman was seen entering the session hall to sprinkle Ganga water. About which there was a murmur among all those present in the session room.
