Agartala: Apr 02: With the initiative of 124 battalion CRPF 33rd Raising Day of the 124 Bn CRPF has been observed here in battalion HQ in Shalbagan with great pomp and dignity. Under the able guidance and supervision of the battalion commandant Sri Mukesh Tyagi a splendid programme management has been arranged to observe this very day with miscellaneous event segments. On this auspicious occasion a large number of high ranking officials from the concerned battalions have taken participation in this motivational celebration. To make the observation successful a large number of battalion soldiers were found in great promptness to manage the celebration fascinating. As per the report, this unit had been raised on 1st April of 1991 at GC-II, CRPF Ajmer Rajasthan. On this Raising Day celebration programme organizer has arranged whole day long programme schedules till night. Different category sport event competitions have been conducted in the battalion campus since morning on 01.04.23 and in the evening there were miscellaneous cultural programmes including patriotic segments. To make the observation more enjoyable a fair has been organized in the unit HQ. Miscellaneous cultural programmes in the evening made the battalion raising day celebration attractive. Vijay Kumar, DIGP has addressed the battalion soldiers and motivated them over the responsibilities of a jawan and narrated regarding the importance of the battalion Raising Day. Sri Vijay Kumar, DIGP alongwith the battalion commandant Sri Mukesh Tyagi trophies have been distributed amidst the victory competitors and inspired them towards games & sports. Mukesh Tyagi, battalion commandant has poured spirit amidst the battalion jawans over the fundamental responsibilities of a soldier and genuine patriotism. The spectators present in the programme have appreciated the cultural programmes presented by the tiny artists of the 124 battalion CRPF families. In order to enjoy the fair family members of this unit took active part in the event. Bada khana for the all participants was managed at night where every programme participant were provided dinner just after the accomplishment of the battalion raising day celebration. Among the distinguished participants there were Sri vijay Kumar, DIGP, Tripura sector, Sri MD Imran Mallick, DIGP, GC, CRPF, Smt. Meena Mishra, chief guest, Smt. Ashu Agarwal, wife of Virendra Agarwal, DIG Agartala range, Sri, T.K Hati, DIG Tripura sector, Dr. S.K Sharma, DIG medical, Mukesh Tyagi, commandant of 124 battalion CRPF, Ojit Singh, deputy commandant and many other dignitaries remained present in the programme.
