Agartala: Mar 30: On the last Sunday of every month, Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s “Mann Ki Baat” program is organized. This Sunday, Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha, Minister Sudhanshu Das, and the workers of Booth No. 10 in the Chief Minister’s own constituency listened to the program. The 120th episode of “Mann Ki Baat” was organized at the City Center in the capital, with the initiative of local businessmen. The Chief Minister attended the City Center to listen to the Prime Minister’s program.
After the program, Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha addressed the gathering, stating that just as Prime Minister Narendra Modi is leading the country, the current government in Tripura is governing the state in the same manner. He emphasized that the current government in Tripura is not involved in any corruption, although some people try to create confusion in various ways. However, such attempts will not yield any results. Without naming the opposition, the Chief Minister criticized them, saying their actions stem from a lack of issues. He added that under the guidance of the Prime Minister, Tripura will progress further in the coming days. The Chief Minister also remarked that the country has witnessed the work of the Congress and UPA governments in the past.
He pointed out that they failed to secure the nation, with China occupying Indian land and extremists attacking the Parliament from Pakistan. The current government, through surgical strikes, has demonstrated that while India does not attack anyone, it will not spare anyone who attacks India. Without naming the opposition, the Chief Minister further stated that many people attempt to create divisions. He noted that the current government has shown unprecedented concern for the differently-abled, unlike any previous government. The Chief Minister expressed his opinion that differently-abled individuals are excelling not only in academics but also in sports, bringing glory to the nation in various competitions. Meanwhile, special arrangements were made at Booth No. 1 in the Majlishpur Assembly constituency to listen to the “Mann Ki Baat” program, where attendees were present.
