Agartala: Dec 18: On the eve of the Lok Sabha elections, there has been a major split in the opposition camp. The ruling party BJP has laid special emphasis on increasing organizational activities in various parts of the state to rake in its straw. On the eve of the Lok Sabha elections, various political parties have been forced to leave and join the ruling party’s banner. People left the opposition camp and came to the ruling camp one by one and took the pledge to be a partner in the development work. Again, there was a big split in the opposition party CPM and Tipra Motha.
Around 1,100 voters from 298 families joined the BJP camp at the joining meeting organized by the BJP Janjati Morcha Kanchanpur Mandal Committee in Dasada, Kanchanpur. Rajiv Bhattacharya, the state BJP president, welcomed them into the party. On this day, Rajiv Bhattacharya said that ahead of the upcoming 2024 Lok Sabha elections, the BJP Janjati Morcha Kanchanpur Mandal Committee has taken various political programs to increase its organizational strength. As a part of that, a rally was organized on the premises of Dasha Durga Mandap on Monday under the initiative of BJP Janjati Morcha Kanchanpur Mandal Committee. Minister of Tribal Welfare Department Bikas Debbarama, MLA Pramod Reang, BJP Janjati Morchar Mandal President Bimanjoy Reang were present in the meeting organized on this day.
