Rameshwar’s friend rushed him to the local hospital for urgent medical attention. Despite efforts, his critical condition necessitated transfer to G B Hospital. Tragically, Rameshwar succumbed to his injuries on Friday while undergoing treatment.

Minister Bikash Debbarma promptly visited G B Hospital upon hearing the news. He assured the victim’s father that a thorough investigation would take place, and the accused youths would face severe consequences. So far, the police have arrested four individuals involved in the incident. Khargram Riang, the grieving father, tearfully received his son’s body on Friday.

Minister Debbarma reiterated that those responsible for this heinous crime would not escape justice. Meanwhile, tension gripped the Gandahati subdivision as news of Rameshwar’s death spread. Authorities swiftly enforced Section 144 for the next 48 hours, warning of strict action against any lawbreakers.
