Youth Demand Completion of Jail Police Recruitment Process

Agartala: Mar 10: Job seekers aspiring to join the Jail Police have expressed frustration over the delay in the recruitment process initiated in 2022. Despite the notification being published and the physical tests conducted, the process has not progressed further. On Monday, the candidates visited the office of the Inspector General of Prisons to voice their grievances.

The youth alleged that their names have not been published even after the physical tests were completed. They have once again appealed to the departmental minister and the state government to address the issue. Highlighting their disappointment, they pointed out that four years have passed without any significant progress in the recruitment process.

 

The candidates emphasized the urgency of completing the recruitment process and expressed their dissatisfaction with the prolonged delay. They stated that such delays are disheartening, especially in the context of a government that promises efficiency. The youth have demanded immediate action to resolve the matter and ensure the recruitment process is concluded without further delay.
