Youth dead body recovered

Agartala: Oct 30: The body of a young man was recovered today morning from Udaipur Maharani Jamtala bridge area. The police recovered the body and sent it to the hospital for post-mortem. But till now the cause of death has not been found. Police are investigating the case.

A police official said that the local people saw the body of a young man lying next to the canal next to Udaipur Maharani Jamtala Bridge. The police rushed to the spot after receiving the information. Police investigation revealed the identity of the deceased. The recovered dead body of the young man Matsingh Jamatia (22), of Dakmura area under Killa police station. Meanwhile, the family members of the deceased rushed to the spot after receiving the news.

He also said that Matsingh had left the house to go to the market around five o’clock yesterday afternoon but did not return home at night. This morning local people found the body near the canal and informed the police.
