Youth arrested by the police while smuggling wood

Agartala: Nov 06: Based on secret information, the police of Baikhora police station arrested one person with stolen wood from West Charbai area and handed it over to the forest department.

It is known that on the basis of a tip-off by OC Vishnu Chandra Das and SI Shivashankar of Baikhora police station, there was a report that wood would be smuggled from the area adjacent to Navashakti Club in Madhyapara, West Charrbai. On the basis of that information, the police arrested TR 01 B 9267 Maruti while smuggling some stolen wood last night. A young man named Ajit Das was arrested and handed over to Bagfa Forest Range.

Residents complain about this, people are losing confidence in Bagafa Forest Range. The bandits are constantly destroying forest trees from the Lakshimchhara beat office area under the Bagafa Forest Range. In exchange of big money, the range officials and beat officers of Bagafa Forest are constantly giving opportunity to the forest bandits, the local people complain. The well-intentioned people of the area have sent various messages to the Bagafa Forest Range, but nothing is being done. People have lost trust in the forest department staff and are now sending messages to the forest department staff to protect the forest.
