Young Man Stabbed to Death in Broad Daylight in Agartala

Agartala: Sept 18: A young man was tragically stabbed to death in the heart of the capital. The incident occurred last night when he was returning home after watching the Puja. According to the family, he was attacked by around 12 individuals armed with rods and daggers. The family has filed a complaint at Amtali police station.

The victim, Shubhankar Saha, son of Babul Saha and a resident of Kanchan Nagar under Amtali police station, was on his way home when the attack happened. As he reached Rajiv Chowmuhuni, 10-12 youths allegedly stopped his scooter and assaulted him. He sustained severe injuries from the attack.

Local residents who witnessed the incident rushed Shubhankar to Hapania TMC Medical College. He was later transferred to GB Hospital in Agartala, where he succumbed to his injuries. The family has named seven individuals in their complaint filed at Amtali police station.
