Agartala, January 30 : Though India became independent in 1947, women got real freedom from the time of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP’s state general secretary Papia Dutta spoke at Shakti Vandana festival at North District Office today.

Various officials including President of Pradesh OBC Morcha Molina Debnath, Dharmanagar Municipal council Chairman Pradyut De Sarkar, North District Mahila Morcha President Rupali Adhikari, Dharmanagar Mandal President Shyamal Nath were present at the event. Women from various self-help groups join groups in Shakti Bandhan.

On this day, Papia Dutta said, Indian women are shining like stars all over the world. In every case, women are advancing with the Prime Minister’s support. Now there are over one crore self help groups in India.

He claimed that over 56,000 self-help groups in the state of Tripura, including 5,70,000 women are advancing in their respective fields.
