Agartala: January 20: Minister and MLA Shuklacharan Noyatia rushed to Shantirbazar district hospital after receiving the news of the death of the mother of the newborn baby.

According to the incident report, Julie Tripura (21), wife of Rakesh Tripura, resident of Maira area of Sabrum sub-division, gave birth to a baby boy at Kalachara Primary Health Centre. Seeing the deterioration of Julie Tripura’s physical condition there, the doctor on duty on Friday referred Julie Tripura to Shantir Bazar District Hospital.

It is also known that due to low hemoglobin of Julie Tripura, Julie Tripura was made a blood donor at Shantir Bazar District Hospital. Later Julie Tripura recovered somewhat. After some time, the mother of the newborn child died due to the deterioration of her physical condition. Jolaibari Constituency MLA and Minister Shuklacharan Noyatia and Shantir Bazar Constituency MLA Pramod Reang rushed to the district hospital on hearing the news of the death of the newborn baby’s mother.

The patient’s family has complained that the mother of the newborn baby died due to medical negligence. The minister said that after the BJP and IPFT government came to the state, the medical services have improved greatly in all the districts. In which the medical services of Shantir Bazar District Hospital have also improved.

The minister also said that after hearing the news of the death of the mother of the new-born child, he reached the spot and spoke to the doctors. On the other hand, the mother of the newborn baby died due to physical ailments due to non-stop bleeding. The Minister and the MLA spoke to the family members and expressed their condolences.
