Agartala: Aug 20: A woman constable drowned in the pond while teaching her son to swim. The incident took place in Tilakpur village of Kailashahar. In the description of the incident, it is known that the resident of Tilakpur village of Kailashahar.

Rupali Sinha, wife of police constable Somen Sinha, suddenly drowned in the pond while teaching her brother-in-law’s son to swim in the pond of her house on Saturday afternoon. The onlookers immediately took Rupali Sinha to Unakoti district hospital where the doctor on duty at the district hospital declared Rupali Sinha dead. The body of deceased Rupali Sinha was handed over to the family after post-mortem on Sunday. The dead policeman is 29 years old. A shadow of grief descends on this tragic incident.
